The campaign is made up of a group of people from all walks of life from across the northwest. We aim to achieve our goals by doing the following:
- Providing support and solidarity with the community to ensure that their views and opinions are heard at the highest level.
- Providing to the public, high quality, evidence based information about existing government health policy as it affects Sligo General Hospital.
- Strongly opposing any government policy that would impact negatively on the provision of the full range of cancer treatment at Sligo General Hospital.
- Taking a lead in the formation of alliances and cooperative relationships with other groups/organisations that will further the core objectives.
- Use all legitimate means and opportunities that present themselves to assist in the attainment of the mission

What is this campaign/website about?
- We are fighting the governments plans to close our Cancer Services.
- We are fighting for our rights as patients
- We are fighting for the rights of our loved ones.
- We are fighting for our rights as people.
The campaign for Cancer Services in Sligo will NEVER stop while people are suffering needlessly.
- It will only stop when the people of the northwest are treated equally and receive the healthcare that they deserve.
- The healthcare that our constitution promises.
- And the healthcare we demand.
